New York Piano Academy's winter recital will take place on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 7:30 PM at the academy's auditorium. It will feature a variety of classical and jazz classics performed by our best students - from young children to young adults. Admission is free. All are welcome ! |

| We would like to congratulate several of our students for their outstanding accomplishments during the 2006-07 season: |
| Hyung-Do Kim (11 years old) - for his stupendous debut recital at Merkin Concert Hall, for his triumphant performance and Special Award at the 2007 Friday Woodmere Music Club Young Artist Competition, and for winning First Prize at the Second Connecticut International Young Artist Competition. Also for his coming WQXR radio premiere this June, 27th, at 9:00 PM on the Bob Sherman talent show.

| Matthew Yuan (9 years old) - for winning an Honorable Mention at the Second Connecticut International Young Artist Competition. |
| Katelyn Tran (13 years old) - for winning First Prize at the 2006 International Musica Classica Festival Competition in Puigcerda, Spain; for her Honorable Mention at the 2007 Friday Woodmere Music Club Young Artist Competition, and for winning Second Prize at the Second Connecticut International Young Artist Competition.

| Aaron Huang (13 years old) - for winning First Prize at the 2007 New York City Piano Teachers Congress Competition, and for winning First Prize at the Second Connecticut International Young Artist Competition.

| Kyu Sunwoo (19 years old) - for winning First Prize at the 2006 International Musica Classica Festival Competition in Puigcerda, Spain, and for his admittance to the undergraduate program at Mannes College of Music.

| Lilly Kim (19 years old) - for her admittance to the undergraduate program at the New England Conservatory as a full-scholarship student, and for winning First Prize at NEC's Concerto Competition in her Freshman year which resulted with a performance of Cesar Franck's Symphonic Variations with the NEC Orchestra.

| Tempei Nakamura (26 years old) - for his outstanding success at his recent tour of Japan last March and April, and for his Japanese TV feature in July, 2007.
