| "In general, jazz piano lessons are
structured according to the student's needs. However, the teaching
method is based on many years of teaching privately and at the
college level. For beginners, the method simplifies the many aspects
of jazz harmony. In a short amount of time students learn to read
lead sheets and accompany others using jazz voicing. Based on this
knowledge, students learn to explore the different scales that can
be applied to chords and slowly take the first steps into
improvisation. Students are encouraged to listen and are taught to
transcribe. I strongly believe in teaching students how to practice
in a way that gets proven results." |
