17 year old formidable student Philip Thompson will present his first ever solo piano recital at the New York Piano Academy where he has been a student of Dr. Ronn Yedidia during the past 10 years. He has been the winner of numerous awards at piano competitions in the U.S. and abroad - and is among the most gifted & accomplished piano students in NYPA’s history.

His program will include:

J.S. Bach - Partita No. 2 in C minor, BWV 826

M. Ravel - Gaspard de la Nuit

L.V. Beethoven - 32 Variations in C minor, WoO 80

F. Chopin - Ballade No. 3, Op. 47, in Ab Major
